Time in business

Time in business is how long a business has been operating, usually counted from the date it was formed or first began trading. It is one of the most common things lenders look at, because a longer operating history gives them more information to work with. Businesses with a shorter history, a newer business, are not shut out; different lenders weigh it differently. A funding marketplace uses structural details like this to show which lenders work with businesses like yours.
