Gross revenue

Gross revenue is the total amount of money a business brings in from its sales before any expenses are subtracted. It is a common way lenders size up a business, because it reflects the scale of what the business is taking in. Gross revenue is distinct from cash flow, which accounts for money going out as well. It is one of the structural details a funding marketplace uses to match a business to lenders that work with businesses like it.
